A free teacher workshop with Murry Sidlin and Alexandra Zapruder telling the story of resistance during the Holocaust.
Defiant Requiem Foundation President and Creative Director Murry Sidlin tells the story of how Jewish inmates of the Terezin concentration camp, despite hunger, disease and slave labor, kept their humanity through music.
Zapruder, the editor of Salvaged Pages: Young People’s Diaries from the Holocaust, will be able to talk with teachers about how to use and integrate the Defiant Requiem program into curriculum.
